Extempore' is a creative problem solving unit 7th grade students participate in the spring. The theme for the this year's competition is "Hail to the Chief."

As part of the unit, students (in teams) will creatively problem solve and put together a solution to take to a state competition located in Marshall, MO at Marshall High School.  The teams are challenged to solve divergent problems (problems with more than one solution) ahead of time and solve 3 spontaneous problems while at the competition. This event will take place on Saturday, April 21, 2012.
