If you finish other assignments, you may go through the website, click on Useful Links, choose one, play it, then reflect in your reading journal. Date the journal, name the link, and tell what you did and what you learned. Journal reflections count for a grade. You should have at lest 5 a month. Good linking!

We have been learning about story structures. The structure of a story can help you understand better and maybe even give you a framework to remember what you've read. Nonfiction pieces also are written with a structure. You have seen the 5 paragraph essay structure, but there are other structures authors use. After reading a passage, reflect on what structure was used. You can kind of put in your own sense of what the structure is. Experiment.
