The Northwest R-I School District is committed to professional, prudent, and conservative financial management. This is exhibited by the fact that the District's financial records are audited annually by an independent firm of Certified Public Accountants.

The Northwest R-I School District utilizes the computerized accounting system School Information Systems-Financial. The business department is made up of many essential team members including a Certified Public Accountant. The department's daily activities include everything from managing the district's SubFinder system, control of payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general bookkeeping, budgeting, and general account management.
