The Guidance Office holds a wealth of resources available to the students, parents/guardians, teachers, and community on a variety of topics and concerns.

The Northwest Valley Guidance Office offers small group and individual counseling on an as-needed basis. Group activities for grief, divorce, changes in family situations, study skills, and anger management are just a few of the many services available.

Counselors serve on the crisis intervention, building care, and at-risk identification teams. Consultation with parents/guardians and teachers is ongoing. Counselors are an important part of the administration of standardized tests such as SAT 9 and MAP.
